The Senior Research Fellowship scheme is designed to relieve scientists of all teaching and administrative duties, allowing them one year (or six month to one year in the case of Senior Medical Research Fellowship) to concentrate full-time on their research. The award covers the actual salary costs of a younger academic employed to take over the fellow’s duties for the period of the fellowship.

In the first instance your application is considered by your University research panel. The panel may then choose to submit it to the Croucher Foundation for further assessment and peer review.
